Slider Necklaces I love making these, they are so therapeutic. The main part of the necklace is a twisted rope, I choose the beads to compliment each other, and I have never yet made two the same ! The slider part is stitched using Peyote Stitch which slides along the necklace - so you may wear the piece with or without the slider. Then I stitch lots of dangles, these could be glass, plastic, shell - whatever happens to catch my eye and match my colour scheme. These necklaces are always finished off with a button or bead, so customers with metal allergies can wear this design without fear of getting a nasty rash. |
