Fused Glass This is the craft of cutting glass sheet into shapes and layering up into an interesting design. Sometimes I use Dichroic Glass for extra shimmer. They are then put into a hot kiln overnight and left to slump down into a tactile shape with rounded edges. I then stick on metal Bails, in either Gold or Silver Plate with an extra strong glue which takes 72 hours to 'cure'. The are offered for sale without chain or Thonging, as I find customers prefer to add their own style of necklace to these pieces, but there is an option to add-on further down the page. |
