About Us

The Bead Shed was launched when we realised, being beaders ourselves, that there was a lack of decent bead supplies in the UK.

We only stock beads that we would use ourselves, we pride ourselves on our quality stock and customer service.

We started out dealing with internet sales only, from a brick built shed in the back garden, hence the name. Within 2 years we had outgrown this small space and made the decision to open a shop, we chose the Railways Arch in Carlisle, as it was easy to get to, outside parking and a lovely area to trade from.

We opened our doors at the end of October 2006 and have since met some lovely people.
