About Us.

The Bead Shed is a family run business, with everyone helping out, packing orders, and answering the telephone.

There are three generations involved, with Sooz at the helm, cracking the whip.

It all started as a hobby overload, where we started selling beads on eBay from our back room, very quickly moving into a shed in the garden (hence the name!) Since then we have had two shops, and a hot glass workshop, but at the end of 2009, helped by the state of the economy, we made the decision to revert back to our shed (albeit a much larger one) and concentrate on the online side of our business.

We now work from a custom built building at our home, although it is in no way a shop, customers are welcome to make an appointment to visit and rummage through our stock.  Find our contact details on our contact page.
